Metalizing
Feemio offers two distinct metallization techniques to achieve a high-end metallic finish:
Métalight: A three-stage process involving a base coat, silver foil application, and a colored glaze top coat. This technique produces a translucent metallic effect and allows for partial application or sophisticated gradations.
Traditional Metallization: A vacuum-sealed process. After an initial base coat, the bottle is placed in a vacuum chamber to be fully enveloped in metallic foil, then finished with a protective colored glaze for a deep, opaque luster.

FAQ
Q: Is it possible to decorate a metallized surface?
A: Absolutely. We can apply additional branding using screen printing, pad printing, or hot stamping. We also offer decoating to create unique patterns by selectively removing the metallic layer
Q: Is partial metallization available?
A: Yes. We can easily apply the metallic finish to specific sections of the bottle to create striking visual contrasts.
Q: Can metallization be translucent?
A: Yes. Our specialized Métalight technique produces a sophisticated translucent effect, allowing the glass's natural clarity to interact with the metallic sheen.
Q: Is metallization available in any color?
A: While not every conceivable shade is possible, we offer a broad range of metallic colors, from classic precious metals to modern custom tints.
Q: Is a metallized bottle suitable for any fragrance?
A: Not necessarily. Certain fragrance ingredients can alter the metallic finish. We always perform a compatibility test to ensure the decoration remains pristine when in contact with your formula.
Q: What durability tests are performed?
A: We conduct a cross-hatch scratch test to evaluate adhesion resistance, ensuring the metallic layer is firmly bonded and transition-free.
